Columbarian Memorial Wall

In an effort to both maximize space and offer the public an economical and respectful way to lay loved ones to rest, Pine Hill Cemetery recently constructed a columbarium, a memorial wall to hold a deceased's cremated remains.

This granite memorial wall is the only one of it's kind in the area. The mahogany colored polished granite is from South Dakota and each niche will hold up to two urns.

The rate at which Americans choose cremation over traditional burial is fast becoming a more popular practice. Pine Hill Cemetery's memorial wall is designed to express the principal that cemeteries should be beautiful places that act to console the bereaved and foster contemplation.

A polished granite cover for each niche can be inscribed, and the ground area surrounding the wall will reflect the granite look of both the wall and the memorial headstones throughout the cemetery. This cremation memorial wall will serve as a homeland for family memorials that are a sustaining source of comfort to the living.
